Lowes and Simple Foods Market in Del Norte, Rainbow Grocery in South Fork, Kentucky Belle in Creede, and Top Value in Monte Vista all offer both Large and Extra Large eggs in one dozen cartons
Are the hens allowed to go outdoors?
Yes they are! These lucky hens get to enjoy fresh air and sunshine! Outdoor access is allowed anytime the weather is suitable.
Are neighbor's coop eggs available in New Mexico?
Yes! They are sold at all La Montanita Food Co-op locations in Sante Fe, Albuquerque, and Gallup.
is animal welfare given a high priority at the farms where these eggs are sourced from?
All of the farms are certified organic and also Certified Humane. This ensures that the hens are cage-free with outdoor access and plenty of feed, water, and nest space.
Where are Neighbor's coop eggs graded and packaged?
All Neighbor's Coop eggs are graded and packaged by Eagle Rock Organic Eggs at our USDA licensed facility located north and east of Del Norte, Colorado
Are the hens always fed non-gmo feed?
Definitely! In fact, they are fed certified organic feed which is produced WITHOUT synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. Non-GMO only means that the feed ingredients have not been genetically modified. Also, animal welfare is not the focus of non-GMO claims.
